Hi..

Hi everybody,
Its been a long long time since I posted any stuff on the blog. I am very busy with my diploma project and other freelance works. There are some really good experiences that I am getting from this works and would share with you soon. I was also busy making my diploma document which I submitted in june at NID. I will upload some of the works and process  from my never ending film soon. I feel I was really lucky enough to spend some really good time at NID for past 3 years. I will be convocating in December 2012 and I hope to finish my film by then. Enjoy!

Freelance Illustration for a cafe wall..

 I did this freelance illustration work for a cafe called -"Foodito" at Mira road, Mumbai.
The brief was  basically to compose an art work which shows the liveliness of the place and show different age groups of society enjoying the food in their own way.
The brief stated the style of Mario Miranda as a source of inspiration for developing characters.
We first decided the individual table and characters and then composed them according to the size of the wall. Unfortunately, I was not in town when the other artist painted on the wall refering to illustration, but over all it came out in a very interesting way!
Having a free delicious italian mexican dish with cocktails was another benefit of this freelance ;)!
